How SGT Works
- We work with a small number of founders at a time
- We place one to two operators per company
- Placements are designed for long-term fit, not short-term coverage
- Operators are remote and work full-time or near full-time
- Engagements are structured so clients receive a single flat monthly invoice from our U.S. entity
- If a placement is not a good fit, we provide a replacement at no additional cost

- Are SGT operators contractors or employees?
- SGT operators are contractors engaged through a monthly service agreement with Saeculum LLC. Saeculum handles tax and labor compliance. Clients receive a single flat monthly invoice.
- Are the operators remote?
- Yes. All placements are remote.
- Where are the operators based?
- Operators are primarily based in Central Europe. Geography is secondary to capability, reliability, and judgment.
- What is the typical timeline for a placement?
- We aim to make placements within two to four weeks, depending on role scope and fit requirements.
- How involved is Saeculum after placement?
- We are hands-on during the placement phase to ensure fit. Once placed, operators are expected to run independently and integrate directly into the client’s workflows, with Saeculum remaining available if issues arise.
- Do you offer a replacement guarantee?
- Yes. If a placement is not a good fit, SGT provides a replacement at no additional cost.
- Is this a staffing agency or headhunter?
- No. We do not operate as a high-volume staffing agency or headhunter. We work with select clients and place personally vetted candidates one at a time. Our compensation is tied to the ongoing engagement, aligning incentives toward long-term success.
- Are there any referral, placement, or other hidden fees?
- No.
- Do you allow direct hiring of operators?
- Yes. Direct hiring is possible after a defined period and under contractual terms outlined in the service agreement.
- How many placements are you doing?
- A small number during the pilot phase. This is intentional.
